NEW RECYCLED MAT FACILITY TO OPEN IN SOUTHERN CALIFORINA AREA.

Global Rubber West, Inc. ( GRWI) announced plans today to open a new recycled rubber mat manufacturing facility in Southern California with help from the CIWMB grant received this past summer. The current expansion is expected to help Global Rubber West meet the increased demand for their recycled rubber mat products. Management is currently seeking locations in Riverside and San Bernadino County. Currently, GRWI has narrowed the site selection down to 3 properties and hopes to have one under agreement by 12/31/04.

“ The addition of a new production facility will strengthen GRWI’s market position on the West Coast,” said Mike Hovsepian, CEO of GRWI. Hovsepian added, “ The new production facility will enable GRWI to continue our aggressive plan to continue our core business, which is producing quality rubber recycled products, and to work with independent organizations to develop and manufacture innovative products to introduce to the marketplace.”
