GLOBAL RUBBER QUALIFIES FOR GRANT UNDER THE TIRE PRODUCT COMMERCIALIZATION ABD APPLIED TECHNOLOGIES PROGRAM.

Global Rubber West, Inc. a subsidiary of Global Rubber, Inc. of PA, proposes to expand its mat manufacturing capacity to a California location upon acceptance of a CIWMB grant request.

"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to expand our technology to the West Coast", said Michael Hovsepian, CEO of Global Rubber Inc. "Product demand has us looking west of Colorado for a location and we expect to be in operation within 10 months. Current west coast demand for our products will require 5 million pounds of crumb rubber annually, added Hovsepian.

Although numerous applications were recieved by the State in connection to a $1.6 million recycling project, only six were selected for approval.
